Buckeyes win 35-7 but we have a long way to go. Too many holding penalties, neither QB seems to stand out, Henderson looked much better today. I would have prefered trying a field goal in the 4ht quarter, but Coach Day can be stubborn at times. We missed an excellent opportunity for a new walk on field goal kicker with no pressure.
Clemson struggling with Charleston Southern, they are winning 21-17 right now but still. Scratching my head how Neb let that game get away from them, the Huskers when I watched them looked like the better team.
So I went to the Ohio State game today. My 5 cents, Day needs to stick with McCord and let him sink or swim. Enough of Devin Brown, some of those throws were so off. I think he screws with the offense when you play 2 QB’s. Am I missing something here? Also, that offensive line needs to create more of a chemistry, still very fresh. Thank God for Marvin Harrison Jr, he could be the savior of the season. Then we have the Jim Knowles bend but not break defense…. Am I over reacting here? Thoughts?
I agree with the dislike of the 2 qb system. In other games that are done, Clemson found it's offense and shellacked Charleston Southern as they should. Utah just barely escaped Waco with a 20-13 win. Still no Cam Rising. Looks like Miami/A&M is going to be a battle.
Texas and Alabama should be a good matchup tonight. I’m excited for it. We shall see if the Longhorns are back
Agree 100% on McCord, clearly showed today he's the superior option and we have much work to do upfront on the OL. In truth while I fully expect to see improvement over the year, they are my biggest concern. McCord is gonna be fine, I expect the defense to be much improved over last year...if there is a non-championship unit, it appears to be the OL thus far. Love to be proven wrong
I am the resident (and only) Alabama fan on the Skybox, and I think it goes both ways. Alabama has a revamped offense and should have a good defense. Texas has skill players returning on offense so we shall see. While the season is young, the results of this game will be a big barometer of the strengths of these two programs .
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgggh, if I'm Scott that movement on the OL that took away the 4th and 1 and forced the FG would really piss me off, esp after Miami ran the KO back. This game is going down to the wire
Purdue broke an NCAA record for the longest quarter (weather delay) in history. 6 hours and 46 minutes later lol
Something I didn't remember. Milroe and Ewers are in the same class and both were Longhorn commits, and Drake Maye the UNC QB was an Alabama commit. Maye flips to UNC and Milroe see's an opening and flips to Alabama from Texas and Ewers seeing the problems with Tom Herman decided to flip to Ohio State and skip his senior year to make some NIL money
I watched part of Deion Sanders post, game. I didn't hear any Nebraska played us tough and we just made some plays when we needed...it was all We dominated them, made a few mistakes but then in the 2nd half dominated them, that was our plan all along. Not much of a gracious winner! Oh yeah and he had his signature sun glasses on during the presser!
Settle for 3, guy had a sure TD bounce off his hands. Looks like A&M is going to lose, last year much was expected from Tyle Van Dyke of Miami, he didn't deliver and was benched for awhile. This season not much talk about him being a future high first round pick in the NFL draft, so he puts on a show and throws 5 TD's vs the Aggies today.
Alabama moving the ball on the.ground. Texas did get the stop but I'm happy with how.we.are.playing. Defense looks good, running game.looks.good. We'll see
Wow...force the Tide to take a FG, then hit the big pass play for a TD. 10-3 The thing is that Ewers has been terrible throwing the deep ball and he really put some air under that one.
