Well it's a limited schedule for sure, only 2 ranked teams are playing. Navy v Notre Dame in Dublin. Irish are expected to win, Navy has a new HC and a new OCoord so it will be interesting to see what the Navy offense looks like. The base is going to be the triple option as usual, but the new OCoord has promised some new wrinkles. Irish fans will get their first glimpse of the Sam Hartman gamble, a lot of expectations are on Sam. San Jose State v USC First glimpse of the 2023 Heisman Trophy wnner Caleb Williams and the high powered USC offense. I won't be shocked if USC puts up at lleast 50 points. Hawaii is coming all the way to Nashville for Vanderbilt. It's year 3 for Clark Lea at Vandy, he showed a lot of improvement last year, can he keep it up.
Maybe but Navy has been a tough out many times over the years and after last years game I was wondering how ND would handle them as they had most of their starters back. The answer obviously now is a good QB who could handle the blitz.
