TCU, Wake Forrest, Florida, and UVA are in the CWS.

Watching Oral Roberts vs Oregon. ORU kid rockets a liner off the head of the Duck pitcher and he goes down, but he gets up and the trainers look him over and he stays in the game. The announcers say he must be OK those trainers wouldn't let him continue if he wasn't. I'm not buying that, I do hope he's OK but a line drive off the noggin seems like should take the kid out of the game and a more complete evaluation.

Little known fact, the TCU coach Kirk Saarloos was one of the 6 Astros pitchers involved in the first no hitter of the Yankee's in Yankee Stadium 20 years ago this past Sunday. Roy Oswalt the starter was injured in the 2nd innning and 5 Astros relievers came on to pitch a combined no hitter. Including rookie reliever and former Irish standout, Brad Lidge who would become known as Light's Out Lidge to Astros fans.

But back to the kindness of TCU. Personally the NCAA screwed Indiana State when they made them go to Fort Worth for the Super Regional due to the problems with hotel space at Indiana State because of the Special Olympics that had been scheduled the same weekend. They should have moved it to Bloomington or some place where ISU fans could easily get to and support their team.

Oral Roberts and LSU became the 5th and 6th teams to make the CWS. Today Tenn/So Miss and Texas/Stanford have game 3 win or go homes.

    Stanford punches the last ticket.
I'm no fan of Terry's team, but that was a crappy way to lose that game.
FWIW... the Aggie outfielders lost some balls the same way, and won't be the last to complain about the crappy lighting system Stanford uses.

Pretty shocking when your team is the best team in College Softball and one of your best players leaves for a team that is a good but not great team because they are closer to home. She'd have been the star again next year at OU with a great team around her and a chance to win another Nat'l Championship. But she wants to be home.

Interesting side story to the Florida-Virginia game at the CWS. She's the daughter of the UVA head coach

Oral Roberts University off to a great start! That was quite a comeback in the 9th inning vs TCU.

Gators did the same thing Don. Down goes UVA to the losers bracket!

ORU is officially the Cinderella Team as they were unranked coming into the Tournament.

Speaking of the Cards why do you think Freese, hero of the 2011 WS win over the Rangers, declined to go into the Cardinal HOF? Very odd if you ask me.
