Love these stories. Major props to these young kids....I'm pretty sure that if I had a $20 million guaranteed contract in my back pocket, using my spare time doing school work would not be at the top of my list of things to do. Congrats to all the kids across the land who left early, went back and finished school as well as all those that stayed and finished. The time demands on these student-athletes is extraordinary. Well done!
From what I've read, the Bears showed by their draft that they're sticking with this kid for the future. He seems to have priorities that make him a leader. Good luck to him (but only so much, my Lions are going to contend for the division this year....I hope.)

He was a good one. His way too early passing was very sad. He was a Worthington kid, grew up as a neighbor to one of my oldest childhood buddies. He was an outstanding young man, never heard anything but wonderful things about him going back to his pre-teen days. He will be sorely missed in the community, glad to see them honoring him
Some of you ND guys might remember Demetrius..... It didn't strike me till after I posted it that both of those wide receivers in that clip - Terry Glenn and Dee Stanley are no longer with us, both gone way too young.
Jimmy Johns, once kicked off Alabama football team, part of university’s 2023 graduating class Alabama had a similar feel good story about returning to get your degree.
