That Iowa/IU women's game had quite an ending, with the incomparable Catlin Clark hitting the winner with 1.5 secs to work with. IU had 2 foul shots and the IU player hit the first and several have opined that if she'd missed the 2nd that Iowa wouldn't have had enough time to get the rebound and move the ball the length of the court to get off a shot.

The last college basketball player I remember being as exciting as Clark is Jimmer Frederette of BYU who could throw in a 3 pointer from anywhere on the court.

Well as a former IU basketball fan I guess I should be excited about the way the program appears to headed. Hell the even found a way to beat Purdue but….looks like the leading scorer is a freshman and I was quickly reminded why I’m not a fan of any college basketball anymore. That freshman will not be back at IU next season. One and done…no sense in getting excited.

    Big game for kp tonight.
With a win the Tide seal the SEC regular season championship.
Also avoid any yapping from the folks on the plains...

So far in the 2nd half Auburn has a good lead.

It's also starting to look like Notre Dame has a chance to send Mike Brey off with a final home game win. I hope I didn't just jinx him.

Texas has a big game with TCU coming up tonight.

Buckeyes defeat Maryland 73-62 this evening in the home finale for this season. It must be something in the drinking water with two consecutive wins.o_O

Alabama great comeback! Why were the Alabama players ejected? Because they left the bench?

I didn't see the game but if there is a "scuffle" on the court any player on the bench who leaves the bench is automatically ejected. In a women's game between ND and Northwestern a scuffle broke out between a couple of players and 3 Northwestern girls left the bench one of them only got 1 foot on the court but all 3 were ejected.

Congrats kp! I would have loved a shot at a piece of that hardware, but your kids took care of business.

Don, beware of IU-itis. Beat Purdue at their house then a few nights later get TKO'd by Iowa by 30-some points. Yep. Clearly something in the Bloomington water. Probably lead.

Sid, strangest basketball season I have witnessed in many years. I like Coach Holtmann and fans are screaming for his firing. I hope Gene Smith sticks to his guns and holds on to Holtmann

Texas loss to TCU last night gave the outright Big12 Championship to KU. If we'd won then the game with KU in Austin would have given us a shot at sharing the title with KU. Not anymore.

Last weekend of the regular season, not sure if there are any impact games this weekend.

KU, Alabama, Houston, Purdue, Marquette all locked in as conference champions.
Gonzaga is not the WCC champion this year. But are still a dangerous team.

Don't know anything about the PAC12

Great way to finish. Doesn't mean anything to the standings, but was great for the seniors and our fans to see a game like that.
    It was a great game.

Ohio State women came from 24 points down to #2 IU and beat them in the Big 10 Tourney Semifinal. Right now in the other semifinal Iowa is leading Maryland the Big 10 #2.

Top 2 teams in the ACC (ND and Duke) both lost today, Stanford lost in the Pac 12 tourney as well.
