I really don't care about the Super Bowl at all but I will be pulling for Jalen Hurts, Davonta Smith, Landon Dickerson and Josh Jobe, who all play for the Eagles. Roll Tide!
Oklahoma has the most players in the Super Bowl, 6. Fla, Michigan and Mississippi State have 4 each. Super Bowl 2023 rosters by college football conferences, teams: SEC, Oklahoma lead the way
Yeah that's great for them. I don't really care who wins I just want the Alabama guys to do well. Hurts and Smith great first drive
PHOENIX (WISH-TV) – A Notre Dame graduate will be among the first-ever all-women flyover crew for Super Bowl 57. A Navy announcement said Lt. Kathryn Martinez will be one of the pilots during pregame festivities in Phoenix. Lt. Martinez graduated from Notre Dame in 2014 with a bachelor of science degree. Martinez will pilot one of two F/A-18F Super Hornets from the “Flying Eagles” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 122. Notre Dame grad part of all-women Super Bowl flyover
That last PI, I don't know if he could have got to that ball no matter what. Hate to see it be the "play" of the game. Eagles and Jalen gave all they could. Mahomes had a great 2nd half and will be the MVP. Great game though by both teams
Oh and I vote that. Ram EV commercial as the worst. The attempt to make cute (?) sexual innuendos connected to the charging ability of the truck was epic fail
No complaint on that critical call from the Eagles CB. FWIW that call didn't cost the Eagles the game, KC was going to kick the FG. But it cost them a legitimate chance at winning or forcing OT. GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Philadelphia Eagles cornerback James Bradberry took responsibility for a questionable holding call late in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday that helped swing the game in the Kansas City Chiefs' favor. "I was hoping he would let it go, but of course he's a ref, it was a big game," Bradberry said after the Eagles' 38-35 loss. "It was a hold, so they called it."
I believe on the PI call it was the same play that the Eagles had failed miserably on 2 prior occasions leaving a receiver wide open for a TD. I'm happy Eagles fans have an excuse to losing to a team with a QB with one good leg.
Here in Martin county, Fla. a disgruntled visiting 25 year old Eagles fan, in uniform, broken into a local firehouse after the game and attacked a fireman on duty with a machete. In Philadelphia they overturned cars, started a few fires and actually stormed City Hall. They are the gold standard for savagery in fandom.
I was rooting for the Chiefs all the way. As to that last call that caused so much controversy, I think it is highly possible that the pass that Mahomes threw so far was because he knew the PI was going to be called. The Chiefs were all pointing. There was another call that while it didn't get as much attention had a big effect on the game. The fumble that the Chiefs returned for a TD late in the game that was overturned after review and called an incomplete pass. It sure looked like a completion to me.
