Did you see the Georgia TD against LSU? LSU gets a FG blocked the ball is at rest on the 4 yard line, no whistle has blown so a Georgia player picks it up and runs uncontested for a TD, which counts. 7-0 Georgia.
What a fluke play allowing Georgia to score their first TD on the blocked field goal that no one downed the ball
What a horrible mistake by LSU to not realize that the FG try is a live ball. Easy TD for Georgia after LSU had a good offensive series and was set to put up a score first. Many Irish fans who hate Kelly are loving it that Brian Polian and Kelly are responsible for that terrible special teams play.
That's what happened to Alabama against Auburn a couple of years ago. Auburn fans call it the "Kick Six"
If they do they are violating their covenant to rank the teams based on who is better and not use their power to rank teams to provide certain match ups.
What a weird interception by Georgia, and a TD on the 1st play. 21-7 Georgia. They have 14 points gifted to them by weird plays
Well actually the first one was just a heads up play. Not exactly gifted to them. LSU could have downed the missed FG.
I see that the SEC refs have been well schooled on what is and is not Pass interference. At least I get to see it go AGAINST L$U for once...
L$U DB's talking crap after they just gave up a 20 plus play? Yeah... just reason #245 why I hate those suck-wads.
No doubt every year there are kids who were under rated as HS player turn into great college players. Clemson had a WR named Renfro who was a walk-on and ended up being a key piece of those great Clemson teams that played for and won Nat'l Titles. Georgia though has a huge talent advantage over LSU, that one DL alone is destroying the LSU OL. That Utah squad that dominated USC probably didn't have more than a few 4 star players, but they are always really well coached and those 2 and 3 star players are developed. But never the less give me a ton of 4 and 5 stars and then fill in with a few 3 stars that have room to grow with good coaching.
