It will be interesting to see what the CFP does if the Irish upset USC, LSU lays the wood to A&M, Will they keep Ohio State in the top 4 and keep LSU at #5 or will a 2 Loss LSU be in the top 4

While Auburn apparently is looking at Hugh Freeze, who would seem to fit at Auburn! Kiffin gets a contract extension at Ole Miss. All is well!

Lane Kiffin will return as Ole Miss' football coach next season and is signing a contract extension with the Rebels, he told ESPN on Saturday.

Kiffin said he had meetings with both the team and his staff before Ole Miss' 24-22 loss to Mississippi State on Thursday to tell them that he was staying and that it would be announced after the game.

Auburn has been in discussion with Liberty's Hugh Freeze for weeks about him becoming the school's next football coach, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Sources said the Tigers are not expected to make a formal offer until after Saturday's Iron Bowl game against Alabama, but the sides have informally discussed a contract for more than a week.

Auburn's pursuit of Freeze has come into focus after Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin said earlier this week that he intended to stay with the Rebels even if the Tigers offered him their head-coaching position. Kiffin then told ESPN's Chris Low on Saturday that he had agreed to a contract extension with Ole Miss.

New Auburn athletic director John Cohen, who was hired Oct. 31, had narrowed the search to Kiffin and Freeze and heavily vetted both coaches, sources told Low.

I see that Matt Rhule got an 8 year contract with Nebraska, that seems like an odd number. Being owed 40 million by Carolina, although I've read that it's still being negotiated, I wonder if what ever he gets from Nebraska off sets what Carolina owes him?

Another double digit penalty afternoon for the Tide. Has plagued them all season, has to be driving Saban nuts

Yeah, it looks like an easy win but Alabama's defense allowed way too many yards on the ground. I'll take the win but we.have alot.to.improve on over.the off-season

Big upset in Corvallis. The Beavers were down 31-10 and won 38-34. Who will be USC's opponent in the Pac 12 game? Depends on the outcome of the Apple Cup. Utah or Oregon.

LSU was down at the half to the Aggies, 17-10. They have tied it up now 17-17 in the 3rd qtr.

Scott many Irish fans have hated that Kelly and LSU have won the SEC West and are in the CFP conversation...they grind their teeth over any mention of it. If you guys hang on and win it will make them very happy.

LSU being blasted by a 7 loss A&M team. Not a good look for the SEC.

I won't be shocked if UGA hangs 50 or 60 on LSU

This is the Aggies with most of their players. Still need an OL upgrade but the talent is finally showing.

Looks like Georgia, Michigan, TCU and USC the top four. Looks to me like
Georgia and Michigan are in regardless.

Ohio State just outside hoping for a miracle.
