Supposedly there was wooden decking under the metal on some of the older ships that under went work in the yards over the years. Sea duty is inherently dangerous. Add flight operations on carriers and it is really dangerous. There are times when you go on the flight deck at night that you literally cannot see anything. No points of reference at all. Awesome but scary.

Buckeyes finally get their act together tonight and defeat the Cincinnati Bearcats 81-53 in MauiI Invitational. Four players in double figures and only six turnovers. At least something to build on for the coming Big Ten season. We will advance to play Texas Tech Wednesday.
Buckeyes defeat TCU in Maui Tournament this afternoon 80-73 for 5th place. We finally have really shown what we can do with this group of players.
Purdue gets a nice win over W Va and our reward was to get to play Gonzaga. A very convincing win over the Zags late last night and now our reward is....Duke on Sunday.
