Dogfight in Happy Valley with the Nits up 14-13 in the 3rd. Thought Franklin made a mistake not attempting at FG on 4th and 2 on the 20. In a game that may go down to the wire, why throw away easy points? Also, Harrison Jr. is definitely playing on Sundays in the future. What a polished player.
Buckeyes up 6 with 4 minutes to go. Not burning clock and still in attack mode with four pass plays moving the ball deep into PSU territory.
And now a horrible pick 6 by Clifford. Wolverines are going to be facing an unbeaten turbo-charged Buckeye team at the Horseshoe the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Some pretty big and shocking upsets today. The biggest so far is beat down of Oklahoma State by Kansas State. Will Howard, Adrian Martinez's backup had a huge game threw 4 TD's and Deuce Vaughn ran wild. But to shut out OSU that is what made it so shocking...well that and 48 freaking points. Also a here to fore mediocre Louisville squad took Top 20 Wake Forrest to the wood shed getting a couple of strip sacks and a pick 6 on Sam Hartman. UCF beat Top 20 Cincinnati as well today, an upset for sure but not as big a shocker as KState or Louisville.
Jimbo speaks with forked tongue, he said Haynes King would be the starter tonight, but it's Conner Weigman! Ag's lead 14-7
I'm starting to think Tenn is this years version of 2019 LSU. Their offense is just outstanding. I will not be shocked if they go down to Georgia and beat the Dawgs.
I post this for kp! BERKELEY, Calif. -- Oregon extended its winning streak to seven games and quarterback Bo Nix's performance put him in select company in the Ducks' 42-24 win over Cal. The Auburn transfer became just the third FBS quarterback in the last ten years to throw for at least 400 yards (412), throw three touchdowns and rush for three scores in the same game, joining Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins (2018) and Iowa State's Brock Purdy (2019). Oregon added 174 yards on the ground to pile up 586 yards.
I'm really pissed at Jimbo though Scott as I made my pick for Ole Miss based on his saying King was going to be the starter!! He hoodwinked me!
I thinking Bobda might be taking a page out of Lou Holtz's book. Wolverines right now look every bit of a team capable of going into Columbus and taking on Ohio State on equal footing. I think that dominating win last year in Ann Arbor got that monkey off their backs and this years game is a toss up.
Looking at how well KState and TCU played this weekend, Those are the next 2 teams that Texas faces and it starts next week with a trip to Manhattan Ks to face that KState team, then TCU comes to Austin. Talk about testing how far Sark has brought this team, and given how they played last Sat vs Oklahoma State who just got woodshedded by KState I'm not overly optimistic
After a pretty good first half, the Aggie D has put on a display of being in position and then totally missing the tackle. Sad stuff...
At Michigan, both teams enter and leave the field through a single tunnel. Ugly incident after tonight game. With video: Police investigating postgame 'assault' involving MSU, UM players
It definitely turned ugly in the UM tunnel, watching this video it was like a mob of drunks beating a guy they don't like outside a bar. I do have to wonder how that lone UM player ended up in the middle of all of this? There was a problem in the Penn State game as well. It's not like this is a new tunnel it's been there for as long as the stadium. Why suddenly is it a problem?
