Found a great article on Alabama and rushing the field. The fans did after an Iron Bowl win in Birmingham. They were however met with force by the troopers / cops. Arrests were made and Hootie Ingram supported the treatment of the fans who rushed. This is a good read on some history of rushing the field. Only Alabama, Mississippi State and Fla have never been fined by the SEC since they started issuing fines to schools. OK I saw some video of the end of the Clemson game and it showed fans pouring out of the stands. I get it that Syracuse was undefeated and gave them a game, although they failed to score in the 2nd half and Clemson came from behind in the 4th qtr with 17 points...but still it's Syracuse.
