Carlos Santana...played one hell of a first base after he quit catching.

Yankee's and Cardinals both clinch tonight...leaves the Braves/Mets fighting it out to the bitter end.

Toronto pitched around Judge all night. Four walks.

They walked Judge the first AB on Wednesday making it five straight but later in the game a reliever hung a curve and he drilled it out like a beam of light. He has about seven games left to hit #62 and he is the Triple Crown leader at the moment by 1 percentage point over Arraez of Minnesota. Truly a magical season.

Despite losing to the Ray's last night the Astros secured the #1 seed when the pesky Orioles beat the Yankee's. Road to WS goes through Houston.

It was troubling though to see such a poor outing by Frambler Valdez last night. Now is not the time to start having a bad streak of starts.

Albert hit 701 last night. BTW, a 32 oz premium beer in a souvenir bar mug was only 27.50

This is the most starts Frambler has had in his career, I wonder if he's running out of gas. His last 2 starts have not been good.

People are offering 50 to 100 bucks for these things. Cute, made in China, and cheap plastic. What a great country.

Yankees will enter the playoffs with a depleted bullpen and no closer. Their #1 RH and LH middle relievers are both hurt. Their #1, 2 closers are both hurt. And Aroldis Chapman is throwing pedestrian fastballs and has completely lost his ability to throw strikes.

Yeah but that first round bye should help you line up your starters the way you want them for the divisional series. Tribe's gotta go with top 3 (or 2) guys in the first round.

Astros should be in a good place pitching wise for the playoffs. We have an excess of starters. Bullpen has never developed that shutdown closer but overall has been pretty good during the season.

It's the hitting I worry about, it's been spotty and sometimes undependable. Disappeared when we went to Baltimore in Sept.
