Good news for Buckeye fans, Don. Ohio State expects preseason All-America selection Jaxon Smith-Njigba and fellow wide receiver Julian Fleming to play this week against Toledo.
We'll not be the offense we anticipated without them on the field playing up to their capabilities. Anxious to see them healthy and getting back in sync with CJ & co, no reason to be in a hurry tho. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Much rather see them healthy and performing at a high level -v- M than Toledo
I purposely have stayed away from all info about the Aggies this week. I want to be surprised by any changes and have an unbiased eye to what may be going on. The game is at night in Kyle so I certainly like our chances against the U. Good luck Terry. I've heard Pinehurst likes to run it up on you if it gets a chance so watch your back!
#6 Can KMA. Fugg Brutt. You dont think you'll see an inspired fired up bunch of CornDogs like you haven't in 5 years?....then You are out your mind. Better do some research on Mickey Joseph before you write that BS. The light has been turned on. We know EXACTLY who's Fugging coming to town.
Bruce Feldman, who writes for The Athletic, a pay site, has named his possible candidates for the Nebraska job, in addition to the current interim coach. I can't remember the names at K-State and Kansas, Matt Campbell of Iowa State, Gary Patterson, Bronco Mendenhall, and Matt Rhule of the NFL Carolina Panthers.
Texas reportedly will start hobbled Hudson Card and see if he can go, if not then RS Charles White will come in, Ewers is likely out for 2 more games. Sark also might go with a lot of wildcat with former HS qb turned RB Roshon Johnson. Jimbo made the switch at QB and LSU transfer Max Johnson will start vs Miae.
Damn, Big 10 taking it on the chin today with Nebraska, Purdue, and NW losing. Southern Illinois earlier this season lost to Incarnate World by 5 touchdown giving up 63 points. They come into Evanston today and totally outplay the Wildcats.
Alabama offense is really sputtering. The score is not indicative of our offensive performance. Color me worried about our wide receivers ability to get.open.
Washington is spanking Sparty -22-0 in the 2Q. Penix, who led the Hoosiers to one of their best records in 60 years, looks like prime Kenny Stabler tonight. Just ripping up the Spartans secondary.
Buckeyes looking very good this evening. Stroud has his complete stable of receivers back and Stroud is looking like Stroud this evening vs Toledo. Henderson injured but running backs backs 2,3 & 4 are moving the football.
1.2 Million if I am correct. We did suffer some injuries I understand. Only higher score was vs Iowa in 1950 here in the Shoe, courtesy of Vic Janowicz (sp)
Penix was never the same for IU after his first of two ACL injuries. He also missed much of his last season with a broken clavicle. Apparently, he's a classic example of getting a new life in a different program. He's been on fire through the first three games, helping Washington to a 3-0 record.
