    Thanks Sid,
I didn't get to watch it so I don't know exactly how it went down, but am glad for the win.
Of all the teams ND scared me the most going in. They pitch well, play good defense, and have good discipline. Taking the path they did was incredible, and you should be proud.
Now my boys need to refocus and beat the Landthieves.

Solid pitching and timely hitting by the Aggies. I thought we might have had a pulse with the lead off HR. But you guys squelched it and got the W!

    Good luck with the Sooners.

Congratulations Scott, very nice win this afternoon. The Irish did not seem to be the same team today. Maybe you caught them napping?

That side of the bracket will light you up if your pitching isn't dead on!

    Final 4 starts shortly.
If the Aggies can get through this first one I like their chances.
    Grind Ags!!!

OU to the Championship series. Beat Scott's Ag's 5-1. Future looks bright for his boys though.

Sucks to come up short, but what a season. If you'd have told me we'd get half this far at the end of Feb, I'd have called you crazy. We have our coach, can't wait to see what he can do with some legit pitching depth.
Sorry... can't root for the Landthieves. I'll be wearing my SEC shirt for the champ series.
    :D

I can root for OU, I can root for Ole Miss, I can't root for the Hogs under any circumstance in any sport

Well the Hogs won a close one tonight. I doubt they can win tomorrow?

No doubt, B12 baby! Besides while OU is a rival and an intense rivalry, it's also some respect. I sort of equate it to USC/ND we don't hate USC, we just want to beat the crap out of them when we play.

Looks like I was correct in saying the Hogs could not beat Ole Miss twice in a row!

I feel the same way about him that I felt when Paul Manieri left. Thank you for lifting our program. Thank you for coaching our team into the CWS. Thank you for restoring credibility to the program. I wish you immense success at FSU, marred only by future losses to ND.

My only hope is that we can hold onto the gains and that we don't go through the painful drop-off that transpired between Manieri and Jarrett.

Ole Miss pitcher has it going right now, perfect game through 4 innings.

Kept it going through the 5th, but 1st batter in the 6th inning ended it!

It's all come unraveled now, 2 hits a great bunt that forced a throwing error and the kid is now on the ropes and Ole Miss has action in the BP, he won't last the inning.

Starter out, bring in a freshman to face the meat of the OU lineup with the bases loaded and no outs.

Strikes out the 1st guy who has hit 3 grand slams this year, strikes out the next guy. Walks a run in and the gets the next guy on a slow chopp back to him.

Looks like Ole Miss will win the opener.

This is where I miss the old coach. Ole Miss pitcher is handling the OU batters in the bottom of the 8th, gets called for a balk. It was really a little Suttle move I would have loved to hear his comments. Then the Mississippi catcher sets up way outside and his pitcher pipes one down the middle and the batter jumps on it, you could tell that the catcher was bumfuzzled.
