They are in New Orleans this weekend. It's a team event. Ryder Cup with a couple of twists

    TEAM FORMAT:

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans will use an alternating-round Four-ball and Foursomes format. The first and third rounds will be Four-ball, and the second and final rounds will be Foursomes.

For Foursomes play, players will rotate tee shots. One player will hit the tee shots on all the odd-numbered holes, and the other will hit the tee shot on even-numbered holes. Example: Player A and Player B are partners. On the first hole, Player A tees off; Player B plays the second shot; Player A plays the third shot; and so on until the ball is holed. The total strokes taken will result in the team’s score for that hole.

For Four-Ball play, the players on each team will each play his own ball throughout the entirety of the round, with the best score on each hole recorded. Example: On the first hole, both golfers on each team tee off. Player A pars the hole and Player B birdies it. The team will birdie

That's all well and good but to achieve true Zen golf status you need the Yeti soft sided beer cooler , well stocked.

Well the PGA Tour has thrown down the gauntlet, no member of the Tour will be allowed to play in the Saudi's first event in London, it[s the same week as the PGA's Canadian Open. I wonder if some players will ignore this and play anyway and take the Tour to court if they are punished.

Well Phil withdrew from the PGA. He probably has money problems and needs Saudi money. Still how often baring an injury does a defending champion not defend his title.

He voluntarily withdrew. If you work for Ford you just can't work for GM on the days you're supposed to be at Ford.

If.the PGA tour is so unfair, why would he want to play on it? Gunner, I don't think he has been banned from the PGA has he? I think so far the PGA has just actually said that PGA members cannot play in another tour's event which is the same time as a PGA event.

KH Lee was up to the task. That putt on 17 and the 2nd shot on 18, showed that he is good under pressure. Speith however with a terrific shot on 17 and a sure putt for birdie, choked.

That putt by Spieth on 17 didn't come close. 5 years ago I wanted to putt like Spieth. Now I keep hoping he doesn't keep putting like me.
