I see that Texas picked up a former 5 star WR, Agiye Hall from the Portal.

He was in the 2021 class at Alabama but with the wealth of talent there he didn't see much playing time. Then Saban suspended him for violation of Team rules and he hit the Portal.

Don't know what he did, maybe kp can shed some light here, but we certainly have a big need for WR like talent wise.

I hope he's not a discipline problem. From what that kid said last week about some players wanting to party more than play football we don't need guys who are not committed.

Hall was.suspended several times. I got the impression he didn't want.to buy into what Saban asks for. Half assing it in practice, conditioning etc. He also was one of the wide receivers we needed to step up in the 2nd half of last year's NC game. I think he had 5 opportunities and only was successful on 2. He had at least one out right drop. Maybe Saban was just too much for him. I think his dad said today that if it weren't for COVID, he would have gone to Texas out of high school. I don't know how that works but at least he's where he's always really wanted to be.

    The Portal!!

Notre Dame is one of the 34 FBS programs who are holding their spring game this weekend. What does that mean? It means it’s time to get the transfer portal fired up because there are about to be a bunch of names added to it next week.

There’s been close to 40 FBS players who have entered into it in the last few days and there’s going to be a rush of new names after spring ball is finished after these programs get done this weekend. There’s still 11 more programs who finish up spring at the end of April and with the semester winding down at a lot of schools, there will be more names thrown in it.

Exception among Gator fans is that we will see a lot of. current players enter the portal and that we will bring in about as many.

I think there is a deadline coming up that players need to meet if they want to play for a new school this season.

400K per year at a Football not known for basketball success, although they have had good teams for sure and their coach is a good coach with a long history as a college coach.

But 400K a year is that the market price for a basketball player who is a good player no doubt, but 400K/year. I wonder what the going price is for a football player.

Better get your quarterly IRS payment estimates started there champ! Don't forget to include your non-cash benefits!

You know, Conservatives continue to work hard to REDUCE taxes, right? Your tax bill would have been about 10% HIGHER if it weren't for Trump. You're welcome.

I checked out Life Wallet. They must have 60-70 Miami athletes on the payroll already. They devote a section of their web site to them. They make a healthcare app.
