Don’t see it used as mulch but I am unfortunately quite experienced at hitting out from the trees and quite often there is plenty of pine straw that ends there naturally in little pine groves. When I lived in Grand Rapids I used to play a course called Saskatoon that was pine trees everywhere. I think it was built in a pine forest.

Is that the Fireball I swig from when my playing partner gets a birdie?

Scottie has a nice lead, but will need to play well today to close the deal.

Cam Smith not going anywhere, Scottie still has the lead but Cam seems to have the momentum.

And just like that he loses the momentum with a water ball on 12.

Vote: Are those songbird chirps real or piped in? I vote false.

Wow. Rory holes out from bunker on 18 to tie lowest score in Masters.

Then Morikowa birdies out of the same bunker as his playing partner Rory. Amazing. Sheffler missed short birdie putt on 13. Gotta keep it together. Still 3 shot lead.

I wonder if any Masters winner has ever 4 putted not just the 18th, but any green in any of the 4 rounds

He should do what I do. Carry 2 putters. One for the first long putt and the other for the three putts coming back.

I was impressed that he didn’t lay up on 15. That’s why I texted him my secrets to memorable putting that he must have read on the 18th tee.
