Speaking of Kelly....Twitter is blowing up with the supposed Oregon move to talk to Chip Kelly. Now I get it that he had some great teams before he blew town for Philly under NCAA Cloud. But given what he hasn't done at UCLA in 3 years leads me to believe that he had lightening in a bottle a few years ago named Marcus Mariota and hasn't found it since.

If I'm UCLA, I'm giving Oregon Kelly's cell number. :D

    I didn't see that coming!

Phil Knight wasn't going to let Mario Cristobal spoil the Oregon Christmas!

If it's true and he does go to interview for the job how would you feel if you are the Ole Miss AD? I believe they have made him a big offer/extension. Would you tell him sign the extension or resign?

He can't feel too good, but not much he can do. Maybe put a HUGE buyout clause in the contract, and then if Kiffin does sign, you sting him when he bolts.

A little surprised. We kinda figured he was waiting for a mid-level job at minimum. Oh well, he did very good things for us and I don't begrudge him taking the step to HC.
    Good luck!

Since we are long past the Dec 8th deadline for Auburn employees to be vaccinated and Harsin is still the coach we can only assume that either he has always been vaccinated or he got vaccinated to comply with the mandate. He just didn't want to talk about it.

Could be, bet we never find out and that he will continue to decline to answer any questions. Although as far as I can tell, nobody has asked since it came up late October and he declined to talk about his status.

Manny Diaz to Penn State. Personally I have always thought that he was overrated, he was awful at Texas.

Manny Diaz wasn’t out of a job long after Miami fired him earlier this week.

Diaz was hired at Penn State as defensive coordinator, the Nittany Lions announced on Saturday morning. Diaz will replace Brent Pry, who recently took the head coaching job at Virginia Tech.

Manny Diaz, recently fired at Miami, lands Big Ten defensive coordinator position

In this state, you are a hero if you refuse to get the vaccine, so it's probably a don't ask, don't tell type of situation.

Agree on Diaz. Never that impressed with his defenses.

No surprise Muschamp's name is popping up to replace Elko. Will and Jimbo are long time friends. I'd prefer not, he's too much of a hothead for my taste but there are worse DCs so I'll be quiet.

Clemson loses both coordinators. Dabo had a pretty stable staff for quite a while, now he has to deal with what Saban has to deal with almost every year.
