kp wins week14 with eight points. Congratulations Kyle! Cheesecake Wolverine wins the contest with 225 points, Bear Down Rick 217 points, Big Orange Mess and NAbuck tie for third with 216 points.

I would like your feedback on your thoughts about the contest without confidence points. Personally I like the format we used this season.

First of all, thanks, Don, for guiding the contest. I run a couple for family and friends. I know it involves some work to keep everyone informed. Regarding the format, I like it because it's easier and less time consuming (says the retired guy who's busy every day doing nothing). Seriously, trying to put 25 games in order of confidence level can be time consuming. I'll be interested in the group consensus.

 

Like Sid, I'm retired so time is not a problem. Either way is fine with me.

 

P.S. Congratulations, Bobda, on your impressive win. Combined with Michigan's 12-1 record, its win over its arch rival, and its B10 championship, this has been a pretty good college football season for you. Well deserved, my friend.

On a personal level, I'm thrilled with 5th place. I believe that's the highest I've ever finished.

I saved my best for last. I guess the only surprise is I got ANY points at all.
I managed to drop from 5th to 9th at the finish line. Guess that's a win for me, since I usually end up watching from the very back!

 

Thanks Don for setting this contest up and for the all the work you do. Given that I always did poorly on the confidence pool, I like this format better as handling complex things like ranking choices or repairing household items like faucets confound Henry and me.

I have no problem with the format used this year. I did screw up and got my picks in after game 1 deadline. Without that blunder, I could have at least ties KP in the final week.
