Is the BLM patch authorized by the NCAA, the B1G, or do universities have their own individual say? Or all the above? Serious question. I dont know the answer.

Don....stop. You meant good for Bobda....and I agree...but NOT Michigan. In my many years on this board, I have understood that not one OSU fan would feel good about any University of Michigan sports team win...EVER...and vice versa. From what I've learned from you Bucks fans, you'd rather cheer for Communist China if they had a match of blind tiddlywinks against UofM. Am I wrong? :p

The NCAA Rules Committee allowed teams to wear patches promoting social justice. At M and MSU, teams wore the BLM patch based, I believe, on a joint decision of the AD department and players. Nebraska has a different patch.

I've observed over the years that Big 10 fans root for other Big 10 teams in bowls, out of conference games and tournaments...even if they are hated rivals. Also I think Don and Stu are your kinder gentler fans! :D

kp, Don and Michael take over the lead now that the Sweet 16 is filled. Stu 1 back.

Sid and Rotag247 still have by far the most possible points.

So how's the 12Pac doing? Only 4 teams were invited to be in this tournament (UCLA had to play it's way in.) Now USC has blown out Kansas worse than they've ever been blown out before...

Nothing mushy about it. The Big 10 haters are having a field day on the sports talk shows and internet and it’s hard to disagree with them. M is our only chance at a little redemption. Go Blue!

Maybe I’m more of a conference guy having graduated from 2 B1G schools. I hate M to pieces when we play them but my best friend and both my parents are Michigan alums. I have more antipathy towards Indiana but root for them in non conference games.

I had a friend whose son played baseball at Clemson. He described the Clemson-South Carolina in-state rivalry as unbridled hate. I always remembered that description when thinking of the Purdue-IU rivalry, which is civil by comparison. My Dad was a Purdue grad (EE), and my wife and oldest daughter are IU grads. I cheer equally for both schools.

I have good friends who are IU grads...makes it harder to hate the Hoosiers. But as soon as they keep the Bucket for a couple of years...it becomes easy again.;)
