It's interesting that here on the Skybox that Joe's mental competence is in question, it's the same on the Political board at InsideTexas, but if you go to the Political Board at NDNation which is mostly a pro-Joe place and a pro-Democrat place and I haven't seen anybody even mention or suggest that Joe isn't quite up to snuff mentally. Fox reported Joe's slip of the name with his Sec of Defense, CNN...nada, MSNBC nada. His speech Thurs will be important and it's being reported he's going on a blitz around the country to promote the Covid-19 package. I don't think the media will be able to ask questions Thurs, but once he gets out with the people he'll have to interact and answer questions.
Remember the cries of outrage over the number of executive orders Trump signed? Well, at this time into his Presidency he'd signed 16. Biden has so far signed 34. The big difference is that Trump actually knew what he was signing.
Biden has an open field. We have a Congress that has been dysfunctional going back three administrations. Hell, even Gingrich and Bill Clinton could get together on some things. Our system of government is paralyzed by partisanship. Whoever is elected in 2024 will erase Biden just as Trump erased Obama who in turn erased Bush. Its a game. We're the pawns. Two words: Tax revolt.

He boasted about the vaccine that he said during the campaign that he had doubts about. He said that Americans might be able to enjoy a small family get together on the Fourth of July. Apparently he doesn't want to let go of the fear of Covid. He could barely walk away from the podium and he didn't put his mask back on when he left (after telling everyone how important it was.) While telling us that we're still at risk he didn't explain why infected border crashers are being put on busses to travel all over the country. He talked about how many Americans have died from Covid and that they died alone. He didn't mention the thousands who died alone in nursing comes courtesy of Cuomo, Murphy, Whitmer et. al.
I was like Lou, the caddy master in Caddy Shack , "$20 says he won't make it to the end of the red carpet. Place your bets!" What's to say? In the first two minutes he blames Trump for 500,00 deaths. He claims that seniors could not get vaccinated "for months" before he was inaugurated when the first vaccine was given Dec. 14 I believe. He left out that the Democrats spent the entirety of 2020 doing nothing to help and only throwing one roadblock after another up in phony hearings while mocking Trump's Operation Warp Speed promise of a vaccine before year end In fact the Democrats and Fauci predicted it would take at least two years to get a vaccine to market. He ignored the mess he has made of the border, the rising racial tension, our bankrupt nation and the growing threat of China and of course, no questions. But he didn't die shuffling off down the hallway.

Corporations don't really pay taxes they just collect more money from their customers to give to the government. Meanwhile just how much of the new stimulus checks will be absorbed by higher gas costs?
I wont be getting a stimulus check but I did pay $3.09 for regular today. That is up .97 since November 3.
I normally purchase 4,500 gallons of diesel and 1,000 gallons of gasoline every six weeks. Our recent purchase is $4,345 higher than it was pre-election.
I suspect most of us normal folks won't be getting anything from this $1.9TRILLION stimulus except the bill.
