Without the childish name calling all I did was post articles from different sources citing the millions Poor ol Trump made from the presidency so we all don’t feel so bad for the big guy....

As frustrating as it is to argue with Dave let's try to avoid the name calling.

Also consider putting him on ignore or resist the urge to respond.

There aren't any specific rules, but neither Bill nor I want to be arbiters of this stuff... argue all you want if you must but try to do so with out name calling

My personal advice is to ignore, or refuse to engage with Dave.

Your right Doc....as much as Marines love to fight, I will skip this discontent island in my hoping campaign, all in the respect I have for you and Bill, and your duties assigned. Have fun in your little world Dave.

So you know I am still here I agree with Terry.

But I do understand that Dave has a way of being frustrated.

Perhaps we should do away with the political forum and just not allow political discussion?

Ignore function is also still there, then perhaps Dave would have to talk with himself, that might be interesting.

"while in office they get paid beans for the responsibility, time, etc that they do...no CEO in America would work for the money the President makes."

I posted a response that listed links to five articles from sources not named CNN that explained how Trump made millions from being in the U.S. Presidency. It seems you guys get the most riled up when facts refute your love for what Trump is saying or doing or has done. Do I have to read falsehoods about him and have zero to say about it? Just read sometimes and if you have facts that debunk it then ok but to just get all riled up.... and call me names etc. defeats any meaningful discussion.

You know you seriously need to grow up and act like an adult.

I really don't recall any time you had meaningful discussions here.

Dave, I was talking about the presidents salary, which is fixed at 400k. Not all presidents enter office rich but they all leave wealthy. Clinton had no money look at him post presidency, same for Obama. They are both wealthy now.
The Bushes came from old money and had more money when they left office.

Trump had widespread business interests before he entered office. I've read articles that said that he is borrowed to the max and could be in trouble and read articles that said he got richer. If Clinton and Obama came to the office not rich and are now rich it would make sense that Trump also improved his bottom line as well.

But as I said you missed my point about the Salary the President earns. It's peanuts compared to the top CEO's

Politics at a high level such as Governor of a state or a US Senator typically makes those people rich

"Politics at a high level such as Governor of a state or a US Senator typically makes those people ric"

I was going to add something similar so I agree with that. Trump also profited greatly from holding the office and he had myriad ways as the articles state in which to do it.

80,999,999 voters joined me Bill in not liking Trump enough to vote for him in November. I guess that makes all of us childish in your eyes.

No everyone gets a vote I respect that, you don't seem to respect my vote though. Trump lost, Biden is President.

No not all the other voters, only ones that act like you do.

My comment to you has nothing to do with who you voted for and everything to do with how you present your thoughts and your self and your lack of respect for those of us who don't think like you do. And think like you do does not have anything to do with who you voted for.

So I merely posted links to 5 articles with no additional comments from me in that post about how Trump profited from his presidency and that's what unleashed your "childish" comments in this thread and caused Gipper to call me a "miserable moron"?

As I have said before...... simple truth always seems to upset people here especially when that truth shows Trump in a bad light. After all he has done in the past few months it's amazing to me that this group can still be so supportive of such an individual.

Unfortunately I reached the decision to block Dave several months ago. I really struggled with it because I am not into censorship in any way but it just got to the point where I could not take it any longer. I still see everyone's responses to what he is apparently posting but I see nothing from him.

Terry I guess I'm hoping you guys can make some sense of the madness that was/is Trump but most of the time you only add to it.
