A huge snow storm here has been going all night. Everything is covered with snow and it's still coming down. The dog refuses to go outside and pee. If he thinks he's going to pee inside where it's warm, he may find himself ejected...
Meanwhile, here on the east coast we have not had measurable snow at the Shore in two and half winters....

Had our weekly conference call today with owners in Italy and California asked about the weather they are experiencing. One guy from Cali said he was skiing yesterday and saw a guy digging into the snow. Stopped and it was a friend who sank into the snow pack while skiing and by the time they reached him he was dead. Did nothing wrong just ended up in the wrong area, pretty sad... They received 8 foot of snow in 48 hours in the area
Agreed, really felt bad... I have another conference call today, I might leave out my weather question

Lake Erie much shallower and always freezes over. People drive on it (dangerous) and ice fish on it. A couple days ago several folks had to be rescued from floes that broke off.
I've seen shows on Cable about Ice Fishing, mostly in Minnesota. Pretty interesting. People drive trucks like that monster that Scott owns and drag out huts on the ice for shelter while fishing. Crazy. I've seen videos of Iceboating on the Hudson, but I'm not sure I've seen them on the Great Lakes, do they Iceboat on the Great Lakes?
