Word is that he decided that he doesn't want to take a chance that his health issues will comeback with the stress of coaching again. I don't blame him, I know he's young for a coach and if he took the Texas job he could end up with another Nat'l title and Austin is a very good place to live, no disrespect to Columbus Ohio but the winters are much nicer in Central Texas!!

ND fans fear he is waiting on the USC job to come open!

 

So Herman has a $20M buyout and Mullen has a $2M buyout?

 

I don't make this stuff up. Maybe that's why Mullin has let his name be floated, leverage with UF for new contract, facilities upgrades, etc.

 

That's a dangerous game to play, but knowing who his agent is... probably the truth.

 

How does Mullen beat Saban?...get paid more.

 

Texas tried to play that game with Saban. It didn't work. Maybe it will with Mullen. Maybe a $25M buyout will get them more wins.

 

Texas A&M's game with Ole Miss has been cancelled, they have a game with Tenn left on the 19th.
