CornHuskers getting screwed by the Lost leadership of the B1G. First off, they dont consider the forfeit by UW as a loss, and then they are carrying over the targeting penalties (BS calls) to the NWU game. Asinine. Nebraska kids had to sit there this past Saturday, watch everyone else play, have the powers that be deny a game with Tenn Chat who was ready to go, and then add insult to the appeal to remove the first half targeting suspensions. **** YOU KEVIN. You're punishing kids who want to play, with no explanation other than NO. That didnt work out too well to prevent the season did it? PURE BS....PURE RIDICULOUS LEADERSHIP INPUT.
Sigh.... Longhorn band will not play any more this year at home football games over the Eyes of Texas.
Arizona /Utah game is the 2nd Pac 12 game to be canceled over COVID-19. Army /Air Force also canceled over COVID-19.
Alabama lost backup RB, Trey Sanders, to injuries suffered in a car wreck. No information on the extent or type of injury. kp is this a big loss for the Tide? What's the Rb depth?
I'll certainly be interested in the Texas/WVA game. Each game is a must win game for the Longhorns if they hope to make it to the B12 Championship game, and it's also a must win for coach Tom Herman who still is on the outs with the fans. I keep reading that WVA has the B12 best defense, I thought that was Oklahoma State, if they do have a better defense than OSU could be a long day for Texas as OSU defense held the Longhorns offense to less than 300 yds, if not for a lot of turnovers by OSU on offense Texas wouldn't have been in a position to win that game.
I didn't stay up and watch it, but BYU ripped Boise State 51-17, on the Blue carpet. While I don't know but I imagine it's been a long time since Boise State was beaten that badly, and at home.
Sanders is the 3rd string running back, so the immediate depth is not bad, but past Sanders is a question mark because none of the others has played running back in a game yet. Both Harris and Robinson are seniors so we should be developing next years running backs this year and this does put a snag in that plan.
While a lot of game left to play, I am a bit surprised that IU is up on UM 17-7 mid way in the 2nd qtr. I kind of thought that UM would come out get all over IU early.
Michigan comes out tentative and flat against Indiana while Penix looks like a legit NFL prospect. 17-7 Hoosiers.
Mich State getting blown out by Iowa 35 - 0 at the half, I guess they really left it all on the field at Ann Arbor last weekend.
I am pretty shocked Bob, no way IU has the talent that UM has, but talent is not always the only factor. If IU is jacked and UM flat stuff like this happens. I will be surprised if UM doesn't look like a different team in the 2nd half.
