Rutgers scored all of 59 pts. in B1G games last year. Hung 28 on Sparty in the first half. MSU has had 5 turnovers in a little over a half. Tough time for my Spartan friends.

I remember something about that kp, but I am pretty sure they are walk-on players not scholarship.

We covered the spread but a poorly officiated game on both sides of the ball. I was surprised wid did not have more penalties today for the first game. Not sure who is the best running back, Chambers looked pretty good to me. Our defense looked pretty porous early in the game. Justin Fields scares me every time he runs the ball. A lot of talent on the field this afternoon. Martinez is a gifted athlete, Huskers turned the ball over too many times. Game one over move on to next week.

I guess the officials didn't get good practice either.

I see Indiana is up on Penn St17-7 late in the 1st half. Would be quite the upset if they can pull it off

Bottom line is we were out athleted. No excuses, we have about 2 more recruiting classes needed before we can really start to heal completely. Disagree Don, Mcafferey is the future. Coach Frost needs to do what Coach Osborne did in Oct 1992 against Mizzou.

Damn, what happened? I can still see that Tide WR who was so terribly injured making a great play in the end zone vs Florida I believe. Hope it wasn't anything like that

I was referring to our running backs AJ. No doubt Mcafferey is an excellent back with a bright future.

Looks Indiana couldn't hold on and Penn State pulls out the win.

Edit : I posted too soon, they are in OT in Bloomington.

Tom Herman and the Longhorns get a win vs Baylor. I didn't watch but I can tell by looking at the stats that Texas fans are not going to hopping back on the Tom Herman train
