28-28 in the 3rd qtr Bama /Ole Miss... Surprising to say the least but it's been that kind of weekend. Miami giving Clemson a game, down 21-10
Props that the Austin female surrender cobra was cute and did not have hairy armpits. The female cobras in Ann Arbor threw away their razors after graduating from high school.
Holy Cow 42 - 42 in the Bama game, what the hell is going on, this has been a weekend where defense seems to be a problem
Alabama wins but it was not a good win. I hate.games.like.this. Defense wins.championships and there.was.not a.defense in sight tonight
kp can rest easy now Bama up 63-48,about a minute left. Doubt if his stomach will like the 48 pts Ole Miss put on the defense though. For those without a dog in the fight it's bound to have been a very entertaining game to watch.
Alabama continues to roll but Ole Miss gave them a real battle. Being a DC in the era of the up tempo spread offense must be a nightmare. Your defense has to defend every inch of the field and one mistake caused by fatigue or confusion creates a seam that the offense can exploit for a TD.
Lol, Mullen said after the game that the Aggie crowd was a factor and he hopes they can pack the swamp next weekend! With his mask I couldn't tell if he was being serious or not.
I was waiting on Kesley to chime in on Miss St, but since he's missing... I'm wondering if that euphoria of the L$U win is wearing off yet?
I have to agree with you kp, I was surprised that Ole Miss put up so many points on your defense last night.
A little controversy yesterday. Auburn was gifted a win by the refs. Bo Nix clearly spiked the ball backwards and that's a fumble recovered by Arkansas. Instead the refs gave the ball back to Auburn who kicked the winning FG. Afterwards the SEC came up with a ******** explanation of why they cheated Arkansas out of the win. Also UGA wr, George Pickens, squirted water on the Tenn QB while after he ran out of bounds and hit the ground. He was thankfully caught by the refs and penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct. Kirby Smart had this to say after the game. Good for him. "When somebody comes out of bounds and you squirt water at them, what are we? Are we 7 and 8 years old?" Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart said. "I mean, come on, let's play football. Let's don't be silly."
Alright...after a fitful night's sleep, I am ready for a more reasoned critique of the Alabama/Ole Miss game. This was the worst defensive performance I have ever seen by an Alabama football team and I have been watching them for 60 years. We had no answer for anything they did. None. Bad positioning, bad tackling, and not really ready for the play to start. Period. I did not recognize that team last night. The offense was very good but I expected it to be very good. We were playing Ole Miss for God's sake. Nope. Defense wins championships and ours was terrible. Normally I would say that maybe it was just a bad game but we were so bad and our fundamentals were so bad that I think we were just exposed. We didn't do all that well against A&M but nothing like last night. I don't think we have much hope against UGA.
