Headed to OT. This is the quintessential B12 game...56-56!!!

I actually like Texas chances in OT. Sam is hotter than a firecracker right now and Tech is probably a bit shell shocked after probably (and rightfully) thinking they had it cinched.

    Game of the day!!

Welcome to the SEC for the Pirate ...623 yds passing by KJ Costello and a 44-34 win by Miss State over LSU.

Texas scores in OT and Tech doesn't even get a 1st down. Texas wins 63-56. What a game.

It's been a long time since the defending Nat'l Champs lost their opening game at home. LSU lost 19 of 22 starters...that's a lot of talent to lose and expect to reload.

A lot of very high scoring games today. Texas and Texas Tech was unbelievable as far as offense, and what K State did to Oklahoma was a shock also.

    Go Gators

LSU was.a.one year wonder. This is not a.great.surprise. they lost.almost.all of their experienced talent. Of course Leach is going to throw, throw ,throw, so you have to score a ton of points. Defense wins championships.

Alabama looks glorious in 4K! 21-0 in the 2nd.
BC is embarrassing the ACC by losing to Texas State 21-7 right now.

Ok dumb play of the day maybe...Aggie punt returner fields a punt deep in his own end zone and decides to run it out, barely gets to the 10 but Aggies commit a block in the back in the end zone and Vandy gets the safety.

Ag's still lead though 7-5 now. I expect they will still win handily. But plays like that make coaches crazy.

    Scott is at the game.

Mac Jones is doing a very good job for the Tide. He might not be the best QB in the SEC, but with all the talent around him he doesn't need to be that guy. But don't get me wrong, he doesn't look like a "game manager" QB either. I wonder if we'll see some of the true freshman from So.Calif in the 4th qtr.

I'd agree he's done everything you could ask...just speculating that people are going to look at Kyle Trask as the best QB in the SEC, maybe KJ Costello if he can follow up on the game with LSU will be talked about as one of the top QB's. If I were an Alabama fan I would be very happy right now with Mac.

Looks like Jones is done. 75% completion rate, 250 yards passing, 2 TDs. Not too bad.

I see that Miami is laying the wood to FSU, 35-3 at halftime.

OK Bryce Young is in at QB for the Tide.

Interesting, Missouri scores and there is no time left on the clock and the game is over, but what about the extra point? Granted it would have been meaningless but I thought they would kick it anyway.
