I have old friends on Facebook who claim that all of the rioters are right-wing extremists who're trying to make the Democrats look bad. I'm not kidding. They also deny that Antifa even exists. They maintain that it's all an invention of Fox News. Diane has similar posters on her Facebook page...
JOCO, that was actually one of the comments to that tweet, that right-wing extremists are the cause of the violence. Further evidence of cognitive dissonance: when the arguments are in opposition to each other, yet the individual does not recognize the arguments are in conflict. Case in point, the riots are not violent, but they are violent because TRUMP! I've noticed Biden (his handlers?) has started shifting his stance on the riots. Is he the first Democrat to denounce violent protests??
Her language should scare the crap out of anyone. When mobs feel free enough to celebrate taking out a political rival, things are on the cusp of getting extremely violent. And this what results from dehumanizing/demonizing political rivals successfully; the Left "news" media and their allies have brainwashed the mobs to believe that lives of Conservatives are forfeit. Trump's supporters are DIRECTLY called fascists, white supremacists and nazis, and this mob is OUT LOUD, DIRECTLY supporting "taking out the trash". The "leaders" on the Left better get this shi* under control quick, or the message to Conservatives is that they are on their own to protect themselves. Good luck getting the genie back in the bottle after that. Repeat: The Left Coalition has created an unsafe atmosphere for Conservatives. I ask again, who is at more immediate PERSONAL danger: someone wearing a "Vote Biden" hat at a Trump rally, or someone wearing a "MAGA" hat at a Biden rally? Trump supporters are not viewed as equal having been demonized and dehumanized by the Left "news" non-stop. I know nothing about the person that was killed, except that they were a Trump supporter. And that is exactly what the mob knew of that person as well. Anyone thought to support Trump has now received a direct, physical threat to their life. Thank you Democrats.
What's unsafe is supposedly sane people defending a crazed 17 year old taking a gun to a protest hot spot and killing two people in cold blood. In Portland I don't defend the killing of a Trump "Patriot" who was attacking his killer with mace I condemn it.... but I also condemn these radical "Patriot" groups for driving their motorcade downtown looking to incite violence. Maybe a "patriot" group should have tried to run down this leftist radical: TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama coach Nick Saban led dozens of his football players and other athletes on a march to protest social injustice and recent incidents of police brutality against Black men and women. The group marched the short distance Monday on the school's campus from the Mal M. Moore Athletic Facility to Foster Auditorium, where segregationist Gov. George Wallace stood at the door in 1963 trying to block the entry of two Black students. The Crimson Tide athletes, coaches and staff joined a series of organized events among football players and others in college athletics across the country in the wake of the Wisconsin police shooting of Jacob Blake.
Your questioning of that AJ is precisely why I cannot debate with you guys any longer. This board seems to have shifted along with Trump's shift to the Alt Right. What you would do and Trump would seem to give approval to is take up arms vigilante style and not protect your home but drive 30 miles to a protest hot spot and kill those you do not agree with politically or invite those enemies to kill you by attacking and provoking them. This atmosphere of violence can only escalate with Trump stoking the fires in his zeal to gain political advantage. I can't understand why those on the right are unable to see what he is up to.... that he sees civil unrest and violence as his ticket to climbing back in this coming election and he is such a sorry son of a bitch he doesn't care at what cost. This will be my last post..... I'm sorry it has come to this but truly you guys are off the deep end.
I don't think so, Dave...we are trying to understand the truth about these things. Sure, we're coming at it from a different perspective but nobody is condoning "driving 30 miles to a protest hot spot to kill those you don't agree with." As far as I am concerned, counter protests, particularly those that are intended or become violent (which most seem to) are just as misguided and wrong as the original (violent) protests. I'll post this again here...is this how it went down? I don't know. Teen's Attorneys Claim Self-Defense in Kenosha Shootings
Good call! If you or your child were a police officer, would you want them to be volunteered to help in Portland? Sounds like a great honor! Be thrown into a situation in which the rioters are allowed to attack you, you are not allowed to properly defend yourself, if you manage to arrest one of them, the DA will let them go free. Uh, no thank you. The Left Coalition has created this. No surprise, they are pointing the finger at Trump. And Biden literally claimed Trump is doing nothing to stop the violence. For months he has literally done the opposite, offering resources and begging the Mayor to invite him in. Instead, the Mayor claims Trump brought the violence with him after more than a month of riots when federal agents came in to protect federal assets. After a few weeks the federal agents left (the Governor promised to watch after the federal assets) the riots have continued for more than another month. Yep, Trump! It has been three months? Four? And we finally have a Democrat denouncing the violence yesterday in Biden. Well done, sir, well done.
Had to post this from the Fire Chief in Portland who refutes Trump's lying attempt at inflaming further violence in Portland: Facts First: This is not even close to true.( What Trump said Monday about the city of Portland being ablaze) "WE ARE NOT ABLAZE IN PORTLAND," Lt. Rich Chatman, a spokesman for Portland Fire & Rescue, said in a text message to CNN on Monday night. "There is a very isolated pocket of demonstrations that have involved fire, none of which has been substantial enough to need more than 1 fire engine." There have been protests in Portland every night since late May, when they broke out following the death of George Floyd in the custody of Minneapolis police. Some of them have featured vandalism and violence. These problems have largely been confined to a small area in the immediate vicinity of a federal courthouse. Most Portland residents have continued to go about their lives in peace even as some conservative media outlets have depicted large swaths of the city as under siege. Chatman said there have been fires set "just about every night" of the protests. He said most of the fires, though, have involved contents "inside dumpsters or trash cans and away from any structures." He said there have also been "a handful of incidents that involve direct attempts at starting a building fire," which he said have been worrisome, but he added, "I would like to emphasize again: this is a small group of demonstrators."

So...how many burned down businesses is acceptable? Here's a video of some Mostly Peaceful folks helping an Amazon driver distribute his packages. Note the lady in blue in the bottom of the screen as she is thrown to the ground by a purse snatcher. https://audio.nationalvanguard.com/swarm.mp4
Interesting first hand account of how Kenosha residents had to deal with violence when their small police force was overwhelmed and their governor initially refused to deploy the National Guard. Media Didn't Report What It's Really Like In Kenosha, Wisconsin, So I Will
Powerful article, thank you Bobda. Telling that the riots are still not front and center on the Left media.
From Media Bias check on The Federalist: Right Bias These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward conservative causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage conservative causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Right Bias sources. From USA Today FactCheck: The man who said he made the widely shared cellphone video of the shooting, 22-year-old Raysean White, told the Associated Press he heard officers yell, “Drop the knife! Drop the knife!” as they scuffled with Blake before the shooting. White said he didn’t see a knife in Blake’s hands. The audio captured by White is inconclusive, although there is a phrase or two that could be interpreted as, “Drop the knife.” Blake’s representatives have said he was unarmed. His father told the Chicago Sun-Times for an Aug. 25 story, “My son didn’t have a weapon. He didn’t have a gun.”
