Texas has decided to allow fans up to 25% of capacity. Asking season ticket holders who opt out to consider converting their season ticket money to a donation.

A lot of talk on ESPNU about the Big10 situation. Consensus seems to be that the Big 10 is unlikely to back down and decide to play, but that maybe they will attempt to explain why they released a schedule and got hopes up and teams practicing then 6 days later it's all off. Even if the Big 10 said that teams could schedule non-conference opponents and play if they wanted, it would be hard at this point to build a schedule of more than a few games and they would be against teams nobody cares about.

Liberty is a team that is scheduled to play a number of ACC teams as a non-conference opponent. Hugh Freeze said yesterday how proud he was of the program that they haven't had a positive test in 2 weeks, but then added that they haven't tested anybody because nobody has shown any symptoms.

KState approved for limited attendance. B10 chief Warren is full of ****. We should get the band back together (big 8) and invite Iowa and Minn in.

In the win some lose some category...Texas after jumping for joy in getting a verbal from the #1 overall prospect in the 2022 class in a 5* QB (Quinn Ewers) lost a top rated QB in the 2021 Class (Jason Milroe) to Alabama yesterday. He didn't say it but it is interesting that he decided that Alabama was for him the day that Texas recruited over him. So right now no QB in the 2021 class, I think most including me think you need a QB in every class due to the high transfer rate at that position.

Ohio State can not play this fall but Ohio High Schools to with the green light today from Governor DeWine? This is absolutely ridiculous.

Got my info from the 12th Man Foundation.
Kyle Field is planned to be at 30% capacity. We will get the opportunity to put in for tickets Friday, then there will be a re-seating at the beginning of Sept based on how many apply.

Are you going to put in for tickets?

Personally I would not, but that's just me.

Yeah... I'm going to see about 2 seats instead of my usual 4.
Depends on where I end up if I take them. If it's a few feet from the moon, I'll pass.

Alabama said they are going to allow 20% of Bryant-Denny to be filled. Availability will be based on points (ie. Past purchases and donations). Students get allocation by class.

How do 6 Big 10 teams play a 10 game schedule? They would at most have 5 conference opponents, that means they would have to find 5 non-conference foes at this late date.

edit: OK I guess they would each play a home/home schedule with the other 5 teams. That would work, a unique schedule to say the least.

Skeptical that M or W would flip. Both universities and the communities in which they reside see themselves as the embodiment of enlightened thought grounded in science and view the players reactions as the angry and impulsive reactions of youngsters who are being deprived of doing something they love because of a pandemic. They view their role as being the ones who, because of their superior intellect, must save the players from themselves and catastrophe.

A former governor of Wisconsin described Madison as “thirty-square miles surrounded by reality”. AA is larger but the same principle applies.
