I think today’s agenda is to set up segregated gardens although not sure that there will be a bountiful harvest.

The statues coming down continues, even the one of Francis Scott Key. Teddy Roosevelt is going into storage. Columbus is coming down all over the country.

NASCAR has banned the Confederate flag, but it was still seen in the tailgating crowds at the last race.

I wonder what is going to happen to the Star Spangled Banner? If it is not sung before sporting events what will happen? It seems like those who want to take a knee in protest will be upset because they are being denied that opportunity, and those who support it will be pissed that it's not being sung. I doubt if it makes any difference if they substitute America the Beautiful.

WTF? They defaced the statue of Stevie Ray Vaughn. Enough! I am ready to join the counter revolution militia.

Seattle Mayor is saying there will be an end to the CHOP Zone . Why do I think this will not end well with them giving up control and leaving peacefully.

CHOP zone was an interesting political clusterf*ck. A Mayor who surrenders a section of her own city, even ordering police to abandon their precinct. She proclaims this to be a "festival, a summer of love". Within days the anarchists are shaking down business owners for protection $$. Then they build a wall, yes, even anarchists see the value of a protective wall. They demand supplies and the Mayor hits her knees and delivers. Then boredom and limited opportunity set in and they begin preying on one another just like us regular folk. The Mayor, now a national laughingstock, concedes that she has to take back her town.

Doesn't matter anymore what the persons history is, if there is a statue they are going to pull it down.

A group tore down the statue of Col. Hans Christian Heg and threw it into Lake Monona, the station reported. Heg was a Norwegian migrant who fought for the Union in the Civil War, according to the Wisconsin Historical Society.
The group also pulled down the Forward statue outside the State Capitol -- which the Wisconsin Historical Society said symbolizes devotion and progress, WKOW said.

Not a whisper from the "mainstream" Left in opposition. It really begs the question, how far out is the Far Left Wing if the Left of Center "moderates" don't disagree with it...? At what point is the Far Left Wing recognized as the mainstream Left, or the in-control part of the Left?

No public dissension = commission is the paintbrush our esteemed rubber stamp friend has painted half of the country with for how many years?

Not sure he knows the players on his own team. He disparaged Pelosi as “that far out left” and “eccentric”. If that is true, how would one describe the members of her party whose caucus unanimously selected her as speaker?

I'm just not much of a leftist.... I've been more of a moderate with some liberal leanings at times but I never want to see the left get out of control any more than I want the right to completely run the show.
A good balance is best for the country.... and Trump's divisiveness is very bad for the country.
I voted for Nixon and for Bush Sr. because they seemed like better choices than liberals HHH and Dukakis.

For the record I feel this whole movement to rid ourselves of anything remotely tied in to our racist history is totally asinine and pointless.
My mom went to Robert E. Lee high school in Jacksonville....so now what... they must be changing the name. Ridiculous ******** that accomplishes nothing in the long run.

Now stick that in your pompous collective conservative pipes and smoke it.

Pretty hard to have any kind of rational discussion with someone more interested in throwing out insults.

One day he presents himself as the self-professed man of reason who is on this board to have a good-faith discussion of political issues and who scrupulously avoids personally insulting those who may hold a differing opinion:

But, the next day he demonstrates why one can fairly characterize his earlier presentation as hypocritical, fatuous ********:

A youth soccer league in Tulsa, OK announces that it is banning the National Anthem from being played before its games from this point forward because it is not inclusive.

Black Lives Matter is the unwitting patsy here. The front. Pew Research Group has been counting heads at the various anarchist gatherings. 17% Black. 21% Hispanic 46% White. And I'll bet you right now that at least 50% of the Whites are women, if not more, between the ages of 19-40. This has little if nothing to do with George Floyd at this point. And for many it never did.

I can see why we're so far apart. No one on your side of the fence cares too much about the pandemic. It's all about anything that's negative for your man Trump and how it is refuted somehow....someway. I'm sure his Hannity town hall meeting will be full of fun "Trump truths" and delusions.

Says the guy who posts about karaoke singing in Florida bars! LMAO

LA County is reported as having the largest spike in the nation. I think only 18 Republicans live there.
