No surprise really. Timing is a little strange. Urban renewal?

WTF...I can only fervently hope that in my next life, I can find a job that an employer will give me 20 million dollars when they finally decide to fire my ass for incompetence.

I was amazed at how fast the boosters ponied up $20 million. If this was at Miami ten committees would have been mandatory.

I see that the FSU AD also made a point about how much attendance has been down under Taggert. They are down about 20,000 per game. I'd guess tickets are at least 80/game. So that amounts to about 2M per game figuring tickets and trinkets/drinks/hotdogs/etc. 7 home games...14M a year. They couldn't afford to keep him.

Do I ever. And poor old Wash. had to give him 5 yrs. or be given the same label. TW's 5th year record there 0-11. Perfection for TY and UW.

That upper 1% has been flourishing under Trump.

For the rest of us... like me who lost his job two weeks ago at a company struggling financially...eh not so hot.

Thanks guys... it's a bitch at my age to have to rethink what I'm doing and how I'm going to do things in retirement. After my quadruple heart bypass at the tender age of 40 I have always been a hedonistic spend now because the future is uncertain kind of guy. Now I'm paying the price for that and also still paying the price for the 2008 recession that cost me my really good paying job in Detroit.

But.... I've just been fortunate to be here....

Dave a little bit behind here and clearing my data on my browser did not help matters. Now that I am signed in again I have missed numerous posts. Sorry to hear about your current situation. Life can be very challenging at times and I hope you can somehow right the ship. We are living in a topsy turvy world anymore.:(
