But, Don, you have adapted and run out on line sport pools! You are a model for the rest of us SB over-the- hill contingent to follow. Poor Joel, a dinosaur struggling to survive in the modern technology tar pits

Re: Herb Score...never remember him playing but know the story and how good he was before the injury...and I loved listening to him do the play by play. The Indians have been blessed with great announcers...before Herb Score was Jimmy Dudley and after him Tom Hamilton. Joe Tait was excellent also (teamed up with Herb Score for a few years) but he was at his best with the Cavs from their very inception until 2011 (missing a couple of years when there was a change of ownership).

Just out if curiosity....anybody paying attention to the "A's"...?....they seem to not understand they're not supposed to be good. They're reminding me of the recent Royals teams

The A's are always good, but their players usually aren't recognized until they're traded to a bigger market. That franchise needs to move to Las Vegas before the Rays beat them to it.

We are talking about the A's who are 9 games back of the Astros and 4-6 in their last 10 games. Not to mention 2-9 so far this season vs the Astros head to head?

Yes. The A's aren't bad; the Strohs are just that good.

Greinke debut tonight in the Juice Box, will be a stone cold sellout and the city is eagerly awaiting a perfect game with 27 strikeouts!

Well no story book start for Greinke. He looked like an All-Star for 3 innings, then not so much. What's up with the 65mph curve?

Greinke is a very good pitcher who is worth less than $33 million per year. He only has to be the 4th best pitcher on that very good Astro's staff...

Dodgers vs Cardinals have played each other since 1892. Each side has 1030 wins since then...

Is there anybody else in MLB who throws their curveball in the 60's?

No. There aren't many high school kids around here with breaking pitches that slow either...

Hey AJ! Revenge is a dish best served cold...

Today's Cards v Dodgers game was a showcase of two of the best young pitchers in baseball. That was really something to watch.

I was too busy watching tavern softball, otherwise known as Yankee baseball. Last night they hit their 51 HR against the Orioles …. this season. And they still have more games with them. The other night against the Red Sox there was almost 400 pitches thrown.... in a 4hr:15m nine inning game. Their third string catcher hit two HRs last night. Boring baseball !

I can't analyze the Yankees this year. They're dominating with no pitchers!

The Cardinals young Irish pitcher, Jack Flaherty, is one of the finest I've ever seen. He's from Burbank.

Another night, another 12 runs and 3 more HRs.

How about Bo Bichette? He just set the MLB rookie record for most consecutive games with an extra base hit. I believe Ted Williams held the record previously.
