Minnesota finally ran out of arms and Ohio State brought their bats. I'm looking forward to the championship. Speaking of looking forward, Vandy came out flat and gave up 6 runs in the top of the 1st to Ole Miss.

The Ohio State-Husker game has been an unexpected pitching battle. Vandy came back to beat Ole Miss... chuckle..

Wonders never cease, Ohio State was hoping to make the BIG TEN TOURNAMENT a couple of weeks ago and end up winning the tournament. The final score was 3-1 over the Huskers before about 17,000 Husker fans this afternoon. Very close game all the way. That's a super baseball field, to say the least.

Getting hot at the end is a good thing! I see the Buckeyes were middle of the pack in the Big 10 at 12-12. IU was the best team in the regular season.

The 16 seeds for the Regionals have been announced. The remainder of the field will be announced at noon today on ESPNU. There are 6 SEC teams hosting. The next closest conference is a tie between the Big12, Pac12 and ACC at 3. The American Athletic has one host. So, needless to say, I am livid that UC Santa Barbara will be shipped out on the road, or worse, packed in against Stanford or UCLA despite their incredible record. Meanwhile, Ole Miss is hosting a regional because of their good showing in the SEC Tournament (and because they will pack the house with butts in the seats).
    The teams are:
SEC: Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, Miss State, Ole Miss and Vandy.
ACC: Georgia Tech, Louisville, North Carolina
Big 12: Texas Tech, West Virginia and Okie State.
    Pac12: Oregon State, Stanford, UCLA.
    AAC: East Carolina.
