Oooohhhhhhhh.....listen squid...I've had water survival training...

This winter was so bad, they had to dynamite the ice jams in the loop and Platte rivers. My home town of columbus was really impacted (2 deaths) because both those rivers pass right by. Lincoln escaped any real threat, but Ashland, Norfolk, Omaha not so lucky. Thousands of livestock lost, fields and homes. Event like this hasn't happened in my lifetime. Govenor has put the state on an emergency water use restriction. And my home golf course lost 12 of 18 holes. Restrictions on Kia and Miata car use due to all the sink and huge potholes created.

Just read that the probability of more flooding is expected to continue through May. :(

I was just worried you would be in trouble without a sailor around to make sure knew what to do around a lot of water! I thought they just trained y'all to wade around in knee deep waves in the sunny South Pacific.;)

Glad to hear your family and you are safe and dry, AJ.

Saw this on twitter--one tiny silver lining from a horrible storm
