Congratulations kp on another very successful run for the Tide. Alabama has all the pieces and a great defense as well. Tua had a remarkable game and you have a ton of good running backs. I do not think you will have any problem with Clemson in the grand finale.

That Clemson defense is better by a lot than OU , so I expect they won't get down 28 points . I'm really looking forward to the game, should be a great game.

as long as they don't do anymore drug testing, Clemson should be okay. (and before anyone gives me **** about it, 3 of the 10 players tested came up positive that's 30%.... for a substance that only appears in PEDs, yet no one knows where it came from). That being said, I could see Bama taking care of business in this one and presenting some coverage schemes that could cause problems for the freshman.

Tagavolua and our entire offense had a great game, except for some stupid penalties. Our defense played well enough to keep the lead that the offense gave them. Murray is very good but he had to be the entire offense and that is very hard to do. Clemson is a lot like Alabama so this one should be an interesting one. We'll see.

I think everybody is questioning that claim of it must have been in the hair products. But that said I don't think Dabo runs a dirty program. His grad rate is excellent and his DT Wilkens is an outstanding representative of the best of college football players.

    Corey,
The only "****" I'd give you is that when the initial test results came back, you threw out the "they will play, it's Clemson" card.
If you ate crow on that I think your slate is clean. :)

I think if it were up to Clemson, they would have played. Dabo made excuses for them all week. I'll eat the crow though as I didn't realize the final say came down to the NCAA. Considering my son has been the designated piss guy since HS on into college, you'd think I would have known that.

I still stand by my contention though. 3 of 10 players tested came up positive. That's 30%. Now did the NCAA magically pull the only 3 guys on steroids? Maybe. It's unlikely though and this should be a bigger deal than it is.

It's the standard routine, nothing says if you have positive test results that they expand.

It was my Gator pick over Michigan that put me there. :)

Bill, I kept telling Dave that the Gators had a good chance to upset the Wolverines. However I did not change my pick, I guess due to conference loyalty? Looks like a horse race down the stretch, doesn't it?

Cincinnati wins over Virginia Tech 35-31 with their backup QB. Luke Fickell and the Bearcats win their 12th game of the season. I am so happy for Luke Fickell! I wondered how he might due in Cincinnati but he has done a solid job with coaching and recruiting.

Michigan State Oregon game is butt ugly at halftime. Both teams should be up by 21 pts the way the other team is playing. Winner will be whoever gets their act together.

Certainly, not much offense shown by either team. Michigan and Michigan both looked pretty bad.
